Governor of Polyhex and Decepticon Commander on Cybertron in the old comics. An Autobot resistance cell led by Perceptor attempted to destroy the space bridge during it's first successful run - an event which resulted in the Autobots being transported to Earth (where they would eventually join the Ark crew) and Straxus being blown to pieces. His head was kept alive in a life support machine and he eventually attempted to use a mind transfer to take over Megatron's body - a possession which led to some interesting storylines...

love the new colours (from what i remember he was kinda purple before, tho i could be wrong) and the tank/field gun mode reminds me a lot of Galavatron's sci-fi tank mode, which is a nice twist.

that said tho, i doubt if my jaw would have dropped quite so hard when i was watching transformers the movie for the first time if Galvatron still looked like straxus.
that said, are you planning a galvatron pic? i think it would be a nice compliment to this one.
And led to a million fans asking the same questions for the next decade... 'But if that Megatron was... But if Galvatron remembered in Time Wars... But if Straxus was really... Why the hell try to take over the real Megatron when he already had a clone one...? It all makes no sense!'
