 who had the good fortune to be visitor #2005 to my page.  ...and for anyone wondering why he appears to have Macross elements in his design - the Jetfire toy was a licenced use of the Valkyrie mould but copyright problems arose when they tried to use his appearance in the show, thus the 'Skyfire' character was created to represent him (follow this [link] for an interview with Floro Dery which mentions these events and also features the original toy-accurate animation model alongside the more familiar 'Skyfire' design). |

jetfire rawks!
as a toy, wasn't he a recolour of the old skull-1 toy? the head -oops! helmet- is right off ol' skully...
no matter what, jetfire was awesome, he was one of the few characters to actually die before the movie, and he was just flat out awesome all around. he had a double-barrel super particle cannon in the show and he toy was released to balance out shockwave's awesomeness!
